Flite Path is a supplier of spare parts to the aviation industry. My involvement with the company started back in 2004 with the first Flite Path website. In 2009 it was decided an upgrade was needed. After presenting a number of design concepts, a style featuring a strong purple navigation bar and large hero shots was decided upon. The site was built to include a content management system, enabling the client to self-manage the site.
It remains one of my favourite website designs in the simplicity of its layout and the success of the horizontal three-tiered menu.
