The RBA building in Martin Place, Sydney, houses the Museum of Australian Currency Notes. In order to make this Museum accessible to more Australians, the idea for a virtual tour was born.
The virtual tour mini-site was produced as a joint effort between myself and Captivaction who supplied the high-quality 360° panoramas.
The design process began with a very detailed storyboard to test and refine the site logic. The main challenge in the visual design stage was to come up with something that complemented the very high quality of the source material – our Australian currency notes.
As well as 360° panoramas, the virtual tour also includes several high-resolution zoomable images of coins and notes.
